More work today on the glass tips, I sanded the horizontal tips smooth, drilled the rivet holes then added some more filler at the nose. I also filled a void in the lower right elevator tip.
I riveted on the rudder bottom since it will be better to paint once riveted. I set the rivets with fresh epoxy resin and the filled the holes right after setting the rivets; I am hoping this makes a good bond that will prevent rivet movement which can crack the paint. I needed to fill the rivet line since I did a less than perfect job with my countersinks! The parts ready for primer had a coat of clear resin rolled on to fill any pinholes.
