Brief Description: 2. Rear throttle and cable eyeballs
Inspecting my handy work and marking things with torque seal I discovered I installed the mixture cable without first sliding the eyeball retainer on to the cable. I disconnected the mixture cable and slid the retainer on the cable and then reattached and set the torque for the mixture. I then installed the eyeballs, the largest I could buy was .260 and the Vans supplied cables are about .35 or so. I drilled out the center to snuggly fit the fat cable. It was difficult the get the two halves to line up perfectly due to the irregular shape of the cable but they hold things nice and tight. I zip-tied the cables on the cockpit side but I think I will wrap them is Rescue Tape which will give more if they flex.
