I continued work on the mixture bracket; I have definitely suffered from “Analysis Paralysis”. In cutting part of the bracket to size I goofed and cut too deep in one spot. To clean this up I had to shave a detent that will now have the angle that will be the cable anchor. Not a big deal but his took more time. I test fit things and I like the fit, I do need to open up the radius that gives clearance between the bracket and the motor mount brace.
The fit get the cable is close to the exhaust pipe so a heat shield will have to go on to protect the mixture cable from getting too hot. I re-clocked the mixture arm one notch to give a little more clearance from the pipe. I have been called out on a trip so no more work this week.
