Brief Description:  Right Console Molex connnections

Well a lot accomplished today, I started by installing the wires that go from the right console switches to the Molex connector “OUT”. One connector brings power to the switches and the other takes the power to the accessories. I then sorted out a couple of ground wires. The interior LED lights need a ground, the indicator light on the Pitot switch and my E-Bus alternate feed switch goes to ground to activate a relay. There is an unused nut plate on the F804 that is right at the aft end of the right console; I installed a small connector here as well.

I test fit the new panel only to discover that moving the attach point for the main bus feed is just a little longer than the wire. I had to make a new bus bar so I could move the attach point a little forward. I had drilled the hole to pass the feed wire based on my original plan; the wire now had to pivot down some. This new location should work fine, although I am pondering a new idea which would entail cutting the feed wire and crimping on a new lug.

After moving the CBs I installed all of the newly made bus bars and the bus tie. I installed the ferrules on the wires for the interior LED lights and put them into the respective terminals. I have a route now for these wires but still need to hook them into the connector. The photo shows the route. I like how the console fits, it should be easily removable.
