Brief Description:  Installed Smart Start Arm button

I finalized a location for the smart start arm switch. I decided that I was not going to use the airspeed switch option. With the smart start system you first push the red arm switch, this makes whatever switch you use for start hot, some use a keyed start switch, in my cast it will be a button on the stick. The speed switch option allows for the start switch to be hot at all times while in the air. I felt the chance of accidentally hitting the button on the stick was too high so I will not use the air switch. Because any airborne start will required two steps (Arm switch then press start button) I wanted the arm button in easy reach. The direction say to hide the arm button to deter some from stealing the plane. The idea is they more than likely won’t know to use an arm switch; they will just try to push the button labeled start. Since my arm switch will be in view I will add an additional switch that will disable the arm switch, I will turn this switch off when I leave the plane unattended. I fairly certain that someone unfamiliar with this set up would figure out how to start the plane.
