Brief Description:  Rear stick connector

Lost a day due to the flu, still not 100% but the work today was mostly at the table. I had to change to a larger 15 pin D-Sub connector due to the gage wire in the stick harness. I made a new bracket to fit the new connector and then primed the bracket.

I then worked on how the connector would attach to the bracket. The nuts I bought were too large and prevented a good connection. I was able to find the hardware off of an old computer. With this solved I attached the pins and then installed them into the lower connector. After a test fit, I riveted the bracket onto the control column.

After a short break for dinner I pinned out the upper connector and then test fit the whole mess. I then made a continuity check of all the switches to make sure I did not pinch a wire.

The connector is a 15 pin and there are 16 wires, I did not want to go up to the next size connector which would have been a 25 pin. I did not like the idea of combining two wires into one pin, so I drilled a hole in the connectors and ran the ground wires external to the connector. These grounds are gone to be attached to a switch so I can disable the flap and trim switches on the rear stick.
