Brief Description: Started to rivet (L) bottom skin
Anita’s Uncle Jack is visiting from Europe and offered to help so I put him to work on the rivet gun. We first did a little practice project so he could get the hang of it then we stared on the right wing outer bottom skin. It is slow going; it is really difficult to reach the rivets at the rear spar but we progress none the less with only a couple that had to be drilled out. We took a break so they could go do some touring.
I took up the riveting solo later in the afternoon with good results. I just can’t hold the bucking bar and rivet gun well enough solo to do the rear spar rivets. The first bay of is almost done.
