Brief Description:  Heated seat wires

After the horribly unproductive day yesterday I was hoping to get more done today. I did get some problems solved but not a lot to show for my time in the shop. I need to get the stick grips installed but I want to get the floor panels down before I start that process. That got me to thinking about if I have all the wires done that will go under the floor which led me to think about the in seat heaters.

I dug out the heated seat panels and placed the floor panels in place with just a few clecoes. I then figured out how the wire harness works for the heated seats. The wires are not aircraft specification and they are heavy so I have decided I will remove all the wires I can, of course the controller box and switch will remain. Due to the size I will position the seat panel sideways and run the wires under the seat. For the rear seat, I plan to install a circular panel mount connector to the right side panel, and then the controller will be attached to the inside of the panel. The switch will be at the forward part of the arm rest. The front seat the connector will be just aft of the front seat back. I still have to decide on the controller and switch locations.
