Brief Description:  Tested LED strip lights

I sold the plane!!! April fools; sometimes I think I am the fool for doing this project.

I reinstalled all of the CB into the panel and then hooked up the battery to test the LED strip lights I plan to use for cockpit lighting. The instrument panel has both blue and white LEDs controlled by separate dimmers; the sides will just be blue. There will also be a set in the rear cockpit on a separate dimmer not controlled from the front. I the photo is full bright one with blue on the instrument panel and one with white. I found an issue with two of the dimmers but the folks at Pilot Lights are sending a new pair at no charge, I don’t even have to return the old ones, I guess I will have some spare knobs now.

I used the voltage tester to measure the amperage of some lights. The LED strips draw only .71 amps with all up full bright, I was worried the 2 amp breaker I was running them off might get over loaded, I guess not. The last thing I did was connect a spike catcher diode to the battery relay.
