With the switch labels all done I started to connect wires. I started with the switches on the right console since I could work on this on the bench. Well after 3 hours works I had the Pitot heat, Nav/Strobe, Landing/Taxi and Map switches wired to their respective circuit breakers.
I then took the whole mess to the plane for a test fit, only to discover that the slack I left in the wires is not enough for me to swing open the circuit breaker panel. The idea of the hinged panel is to make access to the CBs easier. I will have to think of something else, oh well all part of the build process.
You can see the slack in the wires but this is not enough!
