Brief Description:  Fuel Selector & Fuel Lines

Started the installation of the fuel selector and ran into a snag (well, sorta). I should have known the the rudder cable guides installed at the factory were going to interfere with the fuel valve, but I left them in. Now to clear the fuel lines I had to go back and cut out the guides and install those depicted in the drawings (F-1048G). Once I did that, the valve would sit in the bracket correctly. The fuel lines are a real bear to install, but after fiddling for about an hour I was able to correctly bend it so that it would sit in position for the clamps to secure. I was only able to finish the left side tonight; tomorrow is a holiday so I intend to complete the right side. Can you beleive it was in the 60's today in Tennessee? Normally it is really hard for me to get motivated to work on the airplane when it is very cold (cold outside = cold in the garage). With this warm spell I really feel like working on the project.
