Today I committed myself to getting at least one of the doors trimmed and fitted to the fuselage. I had been putting this off until I felt mentally prepared to do it right. I really wanted to have a consisted tight gap all the way around the door.After several hours of trial fitting and cutting I managed to do it! Here you see the door has been secured with hinges and I am very pleased with how it turned out. Very nice, close fit.Now that I feel more comfortable I will tackle the right side (hopefully tomorrow).
