Brief Description: Lower left rear longeron repair
The edge distance was out of spec on the rear lower left longeron. I detached it and made a new one with the side flange 3mm longer. Used the one I took off to layout and drill the bottom holes before bending the strip.
Used 1/8" dia whitney punch to mark the center of the holes once it was all clamped down to the table. Drilled 1/16" dia for a pilot to remove the center of the hole first then ran the #30 through.
Bent it up and riveted it back in place. I will havve to reset the side skin to get the rest of the holes back in.
