Brief Description: Cutting metal for Elevator Skin
I tried the score and break for the first time today. I could find an Olfa P-800 but used a carbide tipped tile tool I found at Home Depot. Line up the Straight edge and draw the scoring tool along it about 8 times. You can see the results below. The factory edge is wavy where the scored cut is flat.
All I did was score it then bend it over the edge of the table. Once it's past 90 degrees it breaks right off. Little cleanup with the vixen flat file along the edge then just break the burr off using the same tool.
