-I had previously located where the cabin heat mixer box would go on the firewall, but now it's time to figure out how to actuate it with the cable. -I drilled a #19 hole in the firewall for the cable to exit with plans to use a ss cable grommet/cover. -I then routed the cable roughly in position to locate the holes in the gear tower and drilled them to size -I then put the cable through the holes and decided I need to fabricate a bracket out on the firewall to keep the cable in the proper position - I upgraded to the ss mixer box and of course it's different than stock which is decidedly easier to install.
