-Drilled holes for pin retainer cover screws #6 -Drilled the nutplates holes -Trimmed the layup for the nutplates so the cowls could be separated -Bent loops into the ends of the pins (used heat to bend them) -Removed top cowl -Fabricated a doubler out of .025 aluminum for behind the nutplates on the top cowl -Riveted the nutplates and doubler to the top cowl -Trimmed the lower cowl fiberglass that will hold the nutplates -Fab'd a doubler for the lower cowl nutplates -Riveted the nutplates and doubler to bottom cowl.
