-Did some additional edge sanding -Cut the horizontal hinges to length ( I screw'd up and didn't remove the pins so I'll need some new ones - I thought the horizontal part used the SS pins, but not so - only the firewall hinges do.) -Layed out the rivet locations in the upper and lower cowl for the horizontal hinge -Clamped the hinge in place on the left and right side and started drilling the top cowl -Did the same for the bottom cowl -Removed the lower cowl and started c/s the holes in the lower cowl and the horizontal row of rivets on the top cowl -Removed the vertical hinges along the side and deburred, c/s the fuse rivets holes for dimples, and drilled the 1/4" bonding holes on the cowl side of the hinges More of the same left to do then I can rivet/bond the hinges to the cowl and the airplane (except the top cowl firewall hinges which rivet on with the top skin which I'm not ready to do- best to leave open until all the wiring is done).
