-Removed the peel ply from my upper intersection fairings and separated them from the airplane (alot fo the clay came off with them - no biggee just messy) -Once I had them free I slide them back into place and check the fit and marked a trim line. The wing is very close to this fairing so it jogs around it as it flows aft. -I roughly trimmed them using tinsnips (not sure if that approved, but it works great and hate the dust from the dremel) -Sanded them in preparation for slurry (I'm out of resin so that will have to wait).
All in all I am happy thus far and glad I elected to make my own vs buying - this is for recreation and education right?
