Contineud to work on the rear baggage mod. -Did more trimming to improve the fitment. -Deburred the edges of the shelf -Layed out the stiffners (3) and cut to length. -Drilled the rivet holes to attach the front angle to the F807 bulkhead (this will support the forward edge of the shelf) (see pic #1) -Deburred the holes from the previous step -Layed out the rivet holes in the stiffners -Drilled them and deburred -Match drilled the rivet holes in the stiffners to the floor of the baggage shelf -Deburred those holes -Layed out and drilled the screw holes (6) that attach the shelf to the middle longerons -Deburred those holes -Drilled the longerons for nutplates and c/s (6) -I started to dimple everything and remembered that I loaned out my DRDT-1 (rats). So I dimpled the ones I could reach with the squeezer and I'll have to bang the others in somehow. I might borrow my buddy Greg's C frame if I can't figure it out. Also I primed all of the associated parts later in the day. I still have about another hour of so to finish this mod, but I think it will be worth it. Just goes to show even the simplest of mods take time.
