Started on something new today - the rudder pedals. I studied the plans a bit and then started by fabricating the F8115 thrust washers (2) for the rudder pedal bottom shaft. I used the WD828 weldment as a pattern and drilled the holes first, then cut out the shape on the bandsaw and finished it on the 3M wheel. Came out pretty good. Another step out of the way.
Here's what I was after. The blank plastic is barely big enough.
I drilled the big hole first and then slide it down on the F828 to trace the pattern and drill.
