Brief Description:  Miscellaneous Wing work

I am trying to plan around the absence of being able to install the aileron bellcranks until the reamer comes in. I need to get the fuel tanks back on so I can clear up room on my bench to work on the left wing bottom skin for the pitot tube installation. I needed to finish up the forward most rivet on the ribs under the fuel tank skin that ties the rib flange and spar flange together. I left those out during fuel tank fitment for some reason. I had to buck the ones on the top wing surface because the skins are on, but I could squeeze the bottom ones with the hand squeezer. I got almost all of them done before running out of time. Once that is done I need to torque the wing tie down bracket on the right wing and then I can move back to the pitot tube install. Lots of jumping around at this stage in the project. I can see that finishing the airplane will be an exercise in working smart so I don't waste valuable time because I didn't plan properly.

Reaching back through the structure to buck the top surface rivets - kind of tricky but worked well.
