Brief Description:  Rudder Skeleton Fitment

Missed working on the rudder yesterday due to my flying job. Oh well, gotta pay the bills.Worked on trimming R-710 to fit the comglomeration of parts that make up the bottom of the rudder. There is alot going on in this area and the plans are a little vague for me. Use caution when trimming 710 as you can easily over-trim and not have the proper edge distance after it is match-drilled to the lower rib. Luckily I researched this before-hand and learned from the mistakes of others. Also match drilled the top rib to the rudder spar and opened up the center hole on the lower rib flange to 3/8" with a uni-bit per the plans. Good session. I also bought the 2x8" lumber and hinges to make a homemade break for the rudder (and elevator) skins as the plans depict.
