Up at 5am on a Saturday morning. Riveted the rudder stiffners to the rudder skin with Mitchel. These are Mitchel's first rivets on the airplane. Lots of rivets. Fabricated R717 Shim per the plans from .032 sheet aluminum. Match-drilled to the lower spar hinge atttach doubler. Also fabricated 2 R716 Rudder Bottom Attach Strips from .032 raw stock. Match-drilled to the lower rudder rib per the plans. I go fly tomorrow, but hopefully I can get a hour or so in on the airplane.
