Held my breath for an 1:30 and started drilling. Did it per the plans - #40 regular bit to drill the first holes through the plexiglass and into the canopy frame (since the frame is behind the pleixglass you can't break through). All 86 holes went well. I did have a couple of holes that tried to wonder off as my bit got duller, but not an issue when I opened the holes up to 5/32". I removed the canopy and opened up the holes with the unibit to 5/32" as mentioned above. I drill them from the inside and out since the unibit is tapered and it leaves a nice finish this way. I still went back with the deburring tool and made sure the holes were ultra-smooth. Then I drilled the canopy frame holes out to #30 and deburred. A lot of work that I am glad is behind me.
Total drill events 344. -172 into the canopy and 172 into the canopy frame.
First hole being drilled-I didn't breath normally for an hour and a half.
All wholes done - get to do it again with the unibit from both sides (inside and out)
