Cut Molding flanges off of Canopy
There are two molding flanges. A 1" opaque section and a clear end section. Called Vans. They were unable to tell me which to cut off - "since they were not standing besides me". They did say that usually builders had to cut off more than the molding flange to make the canopy fit and it would be obvious how much more needed to be cut.
Decide to take conservative approach. Cut off clear end section on all four sides. If the opaque section (and if need more) needs to be cut for fitting will cut latter.
Built jig on workbench to clamp sides of canopy during cutting.
