Mount bracket to back of Governor. Made sure bracket pointed in correct direction and did not block oil filter.
Mount cable end to Governor. Hardware provided by Vans was for Drilled and castle nuts. Plans call for non drilled and metal lock nut. Used the hardware provided by Vans. Bold proved was to long. Hand correct size but hand to drill for carter.
Adjusted governor stops so cable would clear both stops and return spring. This required several tries as well as readjusting cable bracket.
