Brief Description:  Pitot-Static leak check

Used modeling clay to make a sealed "cup" over the static ports. Using a 60 ml syringe, slowly drew vacuum on the system until EFIS altimeter read 3,500 ft. Pinched tubing over with a large paper clip. Starting at 3,000 ft indicated altitude, lost 50 ft in 1 min.

For pitot system, slipped tubing over pitot tube and slowly pressurized until EFIS airspeed indicated 200 mph, again crimped tube. Lost 10 mph in 1 min.

Pass Requirements: AC43.13-1B Chg1
