I originally installed the Collins TDR-950 because this model gave me flawless service for 22 yrs in my Long-EZ and they are "inexpensive".
Thursday this week at Garmin GTX-327 came available on "Craigs List" at a price that was too hard to pass up. So I found myself having to "gut" the panel out in order to mount the Garmin radio tray, which turned into a "Pandora's Box". After many 4 letter adverbs, it finally all came back together and seems to work. Glad to have this behind me in the garage, rather than doing this in the hanger at a later date.
