Fit and trim, trim and fit. Had continuing problems with top left corner too close to the cowl. Had to take a cutoff wheel and trim 1/4" off, then some more with a file. By days end, I could see gap all around between baffle and cowl.

Note that rear baffle is now down to the level of the support bracket.
