Brief Description: Nose gear fairing fiberglassing
After trimming the nose strut fairing, I was concerned about the strength of the forward most section and it possibly tearing over time. So added 4 plys of BID fiberglass. The nose strut to cowl bottom fairing needed an attachment flange between the two halves, so fiberglassed up a flange. This will allow installation of nutplates and screws to stabilize the sections.
Nose strut trimmed and reinforced with 4 ply BID glass
Fabricated an attachment flange using fiberglass for the trailing edge of the nose-cowl fairing
