Filed on forward edge of canopy skirt to trim it straight. Tried to bend to fit the outboard portions of the skirt to better match the new fuse skin. Not much luck so far. Installed cowls and got all attachment pins inserted. Now that I know that can be done, I'll rivet the firewall side skin & hinge flange together.
