Carved out enough of the foam that I could make inital depth marks for trimming. Place cowl back on airplane to get final depth using the impression from the FAB. Carved back foam face until FAB impression was no longer present. Put cowl back on, put in ALL fastener hinges, then finished carving out block to get correct blended match between cowl and FAB. Tomorrow night the inside can be fiberglassed.
