Brief Description: Prop oil leak, FT RPM check... over redline
Two steps forward... one back.... isn't that the way of life. Today Pacific Coast Avionics shop checked out my transponder and altitude encoder as good to go. Taxiing back to the hanger, I retried FT static RPM check, but exceeded 2700 rpm before reaching full throttle. After shutting down, I found oil slung out from the propeller............... enough to get on the canopy..... arrrgg..... ...this is not good! Umm... well... maybe today is 1 step forward... 2 back..................
