Brief Description:  Fuel Tank Lvl Calib.. FINALLY

Finally obtained several level transmitter data sets that were consistent and entered the correlations into the GRT EFIS calibration table. I was unable to get the EIS-4000 scaling calcs to result in correct level readings. So I made the EIS Scaling Factor=200, Offset=0, which resulted in a wider transmitter output scale, thus helped "smooth out" variations.

Left tank top of scale is 12 gal, Right tank top of scale is 8 to 9 gal, out of 18 gal total on each side. It appears the float on the right side is not able to swing full scale upward. The float arm, which is "custom" bent, may be hitting the tank top skin as it rotates upward. Removing the level transmitter to attempt an adjustment is a BIG deal. Since it covers 50% of tank capacity and is only 3 gal different than the left tank, I'm going to accept it as is. Another builder told me one of his tank level transmitters, tops out at 5-6 gal.

As verfied by known quantities, and calibrating the Fuel Flow transmitter, each tank holds exactly 18 gal and looses suction at exactly 18 gal.
