Brief Description:  Remove FAB/Filter; Install Bypass Door/Clamp

Today I removed the FAB and air filter from the carb. The grease worked perfectly as a release agent. The pro-seal did not stick at all to the accelerator pump. There is a nice custom fit now for the air filter that seals perfectly around the accelerator pump housing.

The next thing I did was sand the rivet heads on the flange for the bypass door so the door would slide evenly over the flange and seal nicely against the flange. I also installed a nutplate to the outside of the air filter that will be used to secure an adel clamp for the cable that will be used to open/close the bypass door.
