Brief Description: Secure Left Baffle Cylinder Fin Wraps
With no intention of having to remove the baffles again I finally decided to secure the lower cylinder fin wraps. These needed to be pulled tight against the cylinder cooling fins and Van's recommended using safety wire or threaded rods. I decided to go with the safety wire. This was quite a challenge because of the limited access and the stiffness of the 0.041 safety wire. After much struggling I was finally able to get it done. Once the safety wire was in place I installed Avery's plastic spiral conduit over it to protect everything from chaffing against the wire.
