The desiccant plugs in the cylinders have been slowly losing their blue color and turning pink. I've had the engine now for 3 months and decided to purchase some replacement blue silica beads to refill them with. I also purchased two large polyurethane inserts for the exhaust pipes. These are also filled with the desiccant beads. Should do a better job than just covering the exhaust pipes with duct tape. I want to do everything I can to prevent engine corrosion while I finish working on my project.
