Brief Description: Install Oil Temp and Carb Temp Senders
The Dynon oil temperature sender bolts into the oil filter mount and uses a copper crush washer. The smooth edge of the washer goes against the part being tightened - the sender in this case. I hand tightened the sender against the crush washer and then tightened it approximately 90 degrees more with a wrench according to the Lycoming overhaul manual.
Next I removed a plug at the top of the carburetor and installed the Dynon temperature sender in its place. It will be nice to have this to help detect carb ice.
