Brief Description: Bend C-606 Links, Bolt to Idler Arm, Brackets and
Today I deburred and polished the edges of the two steel C-605 links along with the C-605 idler arm. The links had to have a slight S-bends and twists made in them in order to align with the idler and the WD-617 weldment since these are slightly offset from each other. Once the bends and twists were made, I bolted the lower end of the idler arm to the VS-411PP brackets and then joined the arm to the WD-617 latch weldment using the two C-605 links. All of the bolts use castle nuts and cotter pins. It was a little challenging getting the nuts on and installing the cotter pins in such a tight area.I had a little more time to work tonight so I cut the C-710 pushrod to length and tapped one end for the rod end.
