Brief Description: Drill the C-611 Canopy Latch Bushing Blocks
Nex up was drilling the C-611 canopy latch blocks. For the top bolt holes, I measured the locations and drilled the blocks in the drill press. Then I slipped the blocks onto the WD-617 latch weldment and fit the assembly into position on the F-705 bulkhead. It didn't fit initially. I had to trim the right end of the WD-617 tube to be able to slip the top bolts through the bulkhead and bushing blocks and to align the WD-618 hooks so they would fit into the latching holes in F-705 bulkhead. Once everything was aligned properly I marked the bottom holes in the blocks using the pre-drilled holes in the F-705 bulkhead. I then took everything apart and drilled the bottom holes in the C-611 blocks in the drill press.
