Brief Description: Torque Nose Gear Axle; Lower Nose onto Gear
I finally received the 062 25783054 washers from Van's today so I was able to install the nose wheel onto the new fork and torque the axle to 10 ft-lbs. Cool! I cranked a couple of notches on the ratcheting tie-down strap holding the tail down in order to raise the nose enough to remove the saw-horses supporting the engine mount. Once the saw-horses were out of the way I released the tie-down strap and down came the nose. It's nice to finally have this service bulletin out of the way and to have the additional clearance that the new nose gear and fork provide.
