I spent today installing the right main landing gear mount. This went much quicker than the left gear yesterday. Once again I had to trim the outer floor stiffener, enlarge the hole in the floor for the gear leg, and remove one nutplate on the upper flange of the F704 bulkhead. Once this was done I was able to fit the left gear mount in place. The bolts went in much easier on this side than they did for the left mount. I used the same technique of duct taping the washers/nuts onto a crowsfoot hanging off a breaker bar on the lower center section bolts. Once all of the center section bolts were torqued I match-drilled the mount to the lower longeron. The outer gear flanges/arms were then bolted/screwed to the longeron. It's done,,,yippeee!
