I fabricated the FL-706A attach angles and bent them to the 6.3 degrees that were called for in the plans. This wasn't easy since the metal is so thick. I first tried beating on these with a rubber mallet but all this did was bounce. I had to really put my weight into bending these in the vise. Once clamped in the vice, I used a piece of wood to fully support the full piece and then really leaned into it to make the bends. I'm not sure if they are exactly 6.3 degrees or not but they fit well to the inboard flap ribs, which is what really counts.
