Brief Description: Drill Left Fuselage Forward Components
The next thing that I did was to fabricate the angle and spacers used to reinforce and support the steel fuel tank attach bracket. I duct taped the spacers and reinforcement angle to the inside of the side skin and then used the prepunched holes in the vertical bulkhead and side skin to drill the spacers and angle. I then got a little too gung ho and drilled the holes for the fuel tank bracket using the holes in the bracket itself as a guide. I don't think I should have done this though until after mating the wings and seeing exactly where this bracket should be positioned to fully support the corresponding bracket on the fuel tank itself. I hope this doesn't come to bite me later on. Maybe it will work out. Next up was drilling the little attach strips that join the top angles of the F704 center section bulkheads to the longeron.
