Brief Description: Left Forward Fuselage: Tailor Fit Parts
Today was filled with fabricating parts, trial fitting them, making adjustments, trial fitting them again, etc until everything finally came together for the left forward fuselage structure. The twists in the lower and auxiliary angles gave me the most trouble. I couldn't seem to get them twisted to the right angles such that their forward edges would lie flush against the lower corner bracket. This took a lot of patience but I was finally able to get everything to fit properly. The left side is ready to be drilled, including the vertical bulkhead, the lower and auxiliary longerons, the stiffener and the reinforcement plate for the main landing gear. Whew, what a day and what a process. I'm finally happy with the results.
