Once the bottom edge of the firewall was positioned, the upper portion of the firewall was secured to the fuselage by clamping the longerons to the upper steel brackets. The side edges of the firewall were then match drilled to the side skins. I used a fair amount of Boelube here to prevent the drill bit from getting dull drilling through the stainless steel.
