Brief Description:  F705 Bulkhead: Rivet Bars; Bolt Brackets

I started the day off riveting the reinforcement bars to the base of the F705 bulkhead. These will be used to bolt the rear wing spars to the fuselage. Although the white AFS primer seemed very dry and durable to the touch, I was surprised that the clecoes left indentations on the paint. It wasn't fully cured yet. The paint didn't peel of, it just seemed to be pushed in slightly by the pressure of the clecoes. Oh well. I riveted the bars together and to the bottom channel of the F705 bulkhead anyway. I had to be careful not to rivet the areas where the floor ribs will attach. I was able squeeze all of these rivets with the Pneumatic squeezer. Once the reinforcement bars were riveted to the bulkhead I bolted all of the seatbelt brackets to the bars. These were all torqued to 25 inch pounds and then sealed with blue torque seal.
