The bellcrank support structure is actually part of the aft section of the F706 bulkhead. There is a short angle that fits in between the vertical and horizontal channels that needed to be bent to 88.5 degrees. I used the vice to make this bend but it took me a couple of iterations to get it just right. I initially bent it too far and had to undo it a bit. There is a reinforcement angle that runs the length of the both the horizontal and vertical channels. I had enough angle stock to make the one for the horizontal channel but not the vertical. I will have to wait for my order from Van's to arrive to make the vertical one. For the horizontal angle, I clamped this tightly to the channel and backdrilled the angle using the prepunched holes in the channel as a guide. I also drilled a 1/4" hole through both the horizontal angle and channel. This will be used to bolt the elevator bellcrank to.
