I fabricated the F-601E and F-601P angles and spacers today. All of the angles, gussets, spacers, and brackets were then clecoed to the firewall and everything was match drilled. I used plenty of Boelube since the stainless steel firewall would otherwise quickly dull the drill bits. I drilled everything from the engine side of the firewall - the opposite side of the support hardware. You can see all of the filings in the 3rd picture. The only thing that was a little difficult was making sure the large angles were clamped securely enough that they wouldn't move while being drilled to the firewall.
