Brief Description: Left: Drill Counterweight to Ribs/Skins
Prior to taking apart the forward section of the left aileron, I marked on the counterbalance pipe where the nose ribs would go. After everything was taken apart, I clamped and drilled the 2 tabs on each nose rib to the counterbalance pipe. I then reassembled the forward section of the left aileron and matchdrilled the counterbalance pipe to the forward skin. Since this will be blind-riveted in place with CS4-4 rivets, I initially drilled these out to #40 and then enlarged them to #30.
